Clear, transparent terms governing our diagnostic audits, website rebuilds, and ongoing search engineering programmes. No surprises.
1. Services & Sequential Scope
More Than Normal delivers search engine optimisation, AI assistant visibility diagnostics, and high-performance website engineering. Our commercial delivery model is strictly sequential:
Stage 1: SEO Audit
A comprehensive diagnostic assessment (£450 or £750 with rebuild preview) evaluating organic keyword findability, LLM entity citation readiness, Core Web Vitals speed, and conversion friction. Delivered as a prioritised roadmap within 5 business days of payment.
Stage 2: Website Rebuild
A high-performance static website build (£3,500 base project fee) bounded strictly by the specification agreed at discovery. Includes up to six core pages or reusable page templates engineered for mobile speed, search visibility, and structured Schema.org entity graphs.
Stage 3: Ongoing SEO
Monthly search engineering programmes (£600/month foundation rate for months 1 to 6, then £1,200/month rolling). Available exclusively on websites built by More Than Normal to guarantee complete code, speed, and ranking accountability.
2. Audit Fee Credit Terms
Whichever diagnostic audit tier you purchase (£450 or £750), the full fee paid is credited as a direct deduction against the cost of a Website Rebuild if commissioned within 30 calendar days of report delivery.
The diagnostic audit provides independent commercial and technical value; the credit operates as a conditional incentive for clients choosing to proceed to a full engineering rebuild within the 30-day window.
3. Code & Asset Ownership
Upon settlement of all relevant invoices, the client owns full rights to the approved custom codebase, written copywriting, and design assets produced for their project.
More Than Normal does not retain proprietary platform lock-in. Your website is built on open modern web standards (Astro, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) that can be hosted anywhere.
4. 30-Day Defect Warranty
All Website Rebuild projects include a 30-day post-launch warranty period commencing from site deployment.
More Than Normal will rectify any functional bugs, broken links, or display defects that deviate from the agreed project specification at no additional charge.
5. Ongoing SEO Terms & Cancellation
Ongoing SEO is provided on a rolling monthly agreement. Either party may cancel the retainer by providing 30 days written notice.
The initial foundation rate of £600/month applies for the first 6 consecutive months. Any re-engagement following cancellation starts at the standard £1,200/month rate.
6. Invoicing & Payment Terms
All fees are quoted and invoiced in GBP (£).
- SEO Audits: Invoiced in full in advance upon intake.
- Website Rebuilds: Invoiced across agreed discovery, build, and launch milestones.
- Ongoing SEO: Invoiced monthly in advance on 14-day payment terms.
- Sprint Work: Day-rate engineering sprints (£850/day) are scheduled and invoiced in advance of work commencement.
7. Governing Law
These terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
