I need a website. Where do I start?
Here. A new website starts at £3,500 and takes six to eight weeks, with the research and the writing included rather than quoted separately. You do not need an SEO audit first if you have already decided you want a new site. You own everything from the day it is settled.
Start here. You do not need to buy the audit first, and not because you are skipping the diagnosis: the research that decides what the site should be is part of the build, not an extra. The £450 audit is the way in for people who do not yet know whether they need a new site at all.
A new website starts at £3,500 and takes six to eight weeks.
What happens, in order
Weeks one and two, research. What the business actually needs, then what people in your area search for, then who currently answers those searches. This is the part most builds skip, and skipping it is why so many sites end up with pages nobody was looking for.
Weeks three and four, copy. The words come before the design, because a design drawn around real sentences fits, and a design drawn around placeholder text has to be fought with later.
Weeks five to eight, design and build. Then launch.
Six to eight weeks is typical rather than promised. The thing that moves it is almost always how quickly decisions come back, which is the one part we do not control.
What you get for £3,500
Six page designs or reusable templates, plus written copy for up to ten pages. Those two allowances are separate, and a template covers unlimited pages of that type, so a services template used for eight services is still one design.
The research and the writing are included rather than quoted separately. Every build carries a 30 day defect warranty from launch, so anything broken or off specification in the first month is fixed at no charge.
Once the invoices are settled you own the code, the copy and the design outright. It is built on open standards and can be hosted anywhere, by anyone. There is nothing to license back from us and no platform holding it.
What we need from you
Less than you would think, and it is front-loaded. An hour or two of conversation early on, your Google Business Profile login if you have one, and decisions returned within a few days when we ask for them.
You do not need to write anything. You do not need to have your content ready. If you already have copy you are attached to, say so at the start and we will work with it rather than around it.
If you had an audit recently
Its £450 comes off this, in full, when the build is commissioned within 30 days of the audit.
