An answer

What happens after I get in touch?

A reply, then a fifteen minute call if you want one, then a written answer about what you need. Nobody rings you unexpectedly, there is no discovery process to sit through, and the call can end with us saying you do not need anything.

A scoping call is fifteen minutes, free, and we work out what you actually need.Book a scoping call

A reply from the person who would do the work, not a form response and not a salesperson.

This page exists because getting in touch with an agency is its own small dread. You suspect you are about to be added to a sequence, chased for a fortnight, and put through an hour of discovery before anybody tells you a price. So here is the whole thing.

Step one, a reply

Usually within a working day, from Alex, who would be doing the work.

If your message contains an actual question, the reply contains an actual answer rather than an invitation to book a call to receive it. Sometimes that is the end of it, and that is a fine outcome.

Step two, a call, only if it helps

Fifteen minutes, free, at a time you pick. Weekday slots at 10:00, 11:30, 14:00 and 15:30, with at least 48 hours notice so nobody is ambushed.

It is a conversation about what you are trying to fix, not a pitch. There are no slides. You do not need to prepare anything, and you will not be asked about your budget in the first two minutes.

It can end with us saying you do not need us. That happens, and the call is still free.

Step three, something in writing

Whatever we concluded, in writing, so you can think about it without anybody in the room.

That might be a recommendation to start with the £450 audit because the cause is unclear. It might be a quote for a build because you already know what you want. It might be a note saying the thing you need costs nothing and here is how to do it yourself.

You will not be chased. If you go quiet, we assume the answer is no or not now, and both are normal.

What does not happen

No sequence. You will not get five follow-up emails written in advance.

No unexpected phone calls. If you did not book a time, the phone will not ring.

No pressure to decide on the call. Nothing is time limited and no price changes because you thought about it for a fortnight.

No contract before you are ready. Nothing is signed at the scoping stage.

If you would rather not talk at all

Reasonable, and quite common.

Everything is published. The prices are on the site, the audit method is published in full, and fourteen answers cover most of what a call would cover. You can read all of it, decide on your own, and get in touch when you have something specific to ask.

One thing we will ask for

If you want a useful answer about your own site rather than a general one, we will need the web address, and for anything detailed, read access to Search Console and your Google Business Profile. Not before the call, and never a password: access is granted from inside your own account and you can revoke it whenever you like.
